How can I adopt an animal from Maybel's Legacy?

 

To adopt from Maybel’s Legacy, simply fill out their online Adoption Application and we will follow up with you directly.

Here’s a more detailed breakdown of the process:

  • Step 1: Fill Out the Adoption Application
    • Complete the online form with details about your home, lifestyle, and preferences.
    • This helps the team match you with the right companion animal.
  • Step 2: Wait for Contact
    • After submitting your application, a team member will reach out to discuss next steps, including meet-and-greets or home checks if applicable.
  • Step 3: Pay Adoption Fee, & Register the Microchip
  • Step 4: Finalize the Adoption by completing an Adoption contract that transfers ownership and responsibility

How can I foster an animal from Maybel's Legacy?

Thank you for expressing interest in our fostering program. We will provide everything you need. Simply fill out a Foster Application. 

Fostering with Maybel’s Legacy means opening your home—and your heart—to a rescue animal in need of temporary care. As a foster, you provide love, safety, and structure while we work to find the animal’s forever home. It’s one of the most impactful ways to support our mission, especially as we grow.

Here’s what fostering typically involves:

  • Short-term commitment: From a few days to a few weeks, depending on the animal’s needs.
  • Home-based care: You offer shelter, basic training, and emotional support.
  • Team support: We provide guidance, supplies when possible, and stay in close contact.
  • Life-changing impact: You help an animal decompress, heal, and prepare for adoption.
